SNMC is a grassroots, non-partisan, non-profit community-oriented Muslim organization. Honesty, openness, and fairness are among the guiding principles that help us deliver our activities.
Our services are open to all Canadians of any faith, cultural, and ethnic background. We welcome others' views and ideas, and our activities are organized to serve the local community and to foster greater understanding and cohesiveness. We are all volunteers residing in the South Nepean region.
Our mission
Worship
Maintain a local masjid for daily prayer and worship for the community.
Education
Teach Islamic studies for children, plus education and free tutoring for local students β Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
Charity
Help local families and students in need, and provide regular charitable service to the community.
Community
Celebrate important occasions and work with local and non-Muslim organizations to build understanding.
